PRP

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), i.e. platelet-rich plasma treatment, is a method used to activate the body's own healing mechanisms for skin renewal, hair loss prevention, wound healing acceleration and sports injuries treatment. In PRP treatment, the patient's own blood is taken and subjected to a special process and the plasma in which platelets are concentrated is injected into the desired area to be treated. Platelets are rich in growth factors and these factors encourage processes such as tissue repair, collagen production and cell renewal. Areas of Use of PRP: Skin Renewal: PRP is widely used to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on the face, neck and hands, equalize skin tone and improve skin texture. PRP injected under the skin increases collagen production and contributes to a younger and healthier appearance of the skin. Hair Treatment: PRP strengthens hair follicles and encourages new hair to grow in people experiencing hair loss. The treatment is performed by injections into the scalp and is usually applied in several sessions. Orthopedics and Sports Injuries: PRP is also used in the treatment of muscle, tendon and ligament injuries. PRP injected into the injured area accelerates the healing process, reduces pain and increases mobility. Wound Healing: PRP can also be effective in accelerating wound healing after surgery and in the treatment of chronic wounds. Treatment Process: PRP treatment begins with a small amount of blood being drawn from the patient. The blood is separated by a process called centrifugation and platelet-rich plasma is obtained. This plasma is injected into the area to be treated with fine needles. The procedure usually takes 30-60 minutes and the recovery period is short because it is minimally invasive. Most patients can return to their daily activities immediately after the treatment. PRP treatment is considered a natural and safe method because the plasma used is obtained from the patient's own blood, which minimizes the risk of allergic reactions. The treatment offers rejuvenating effects on the skin and scalp, while accelerating recovery in orthopedics and sports injuries. However, it is important to consult a specialist before PRP treatment to obtain information about the suitability of the treatment and its possible results.
